Do you ever find a great quotation on Tumblr, but then find that its source isn’t linked or referenced, so you Google it and all that you can find is hundreds of Tumblr pages of said quotation but no actual source?
This makes me incredibly nervous about the future of attribution and the collective willingness to so believe something is true – and to offer up a sketchily attributed quotation as definitive – simply because it is on the Internet and easy to replicate.
